I was a PA (working for free) on a commercial that was filming in a building in New York, and they were shooting a sequence for this movie upstairs.  I wandered over and met Ed French (the makeup artist) and I eventually helped puppeteer  a shot of some creature who was shaking on a book shelf (I think it’s near the end of the movie).
