I supervised the Ship Chase and the Debt Settled sequences on this film.  I seemed to do all the shots in those sequences with every creatures in it…  I TD’d the shots when Davy opens the chest to find his heart is missing.  I also did a bunch of shots in the Dice Game sequence.

I was REALLY happy that this film won the Academy Award.  ILM hadn’t won since I started working there in 1995.
